Hotel Joaquin has been on my stay-cation bucket list for a few years. Formally a roadside motor lodge, it has been painstakingly updated and every detail is perfection. Taking inspiration from resorts in St. Barth’s and the south of France married with the low-key feeling of Southern California, Studio Robert McKinley designed each room and lounge area with one-of-a-kind vintage pieces making each room a unique special experience.
